Beth and Domingo with artist David Tomb
David Tomb has been an artist and serious bird nerd since childhood. He drew birds as a youngster, stomping around his local western patch of earth looking for great horned owls, red-tailed hawks and got poison oak a lot. David has travelled internationally to such lush locales as Ecuador, the Philippines and Mexico to find his subjects. If you listen closely, on some of his rain forest treks you may find the music of Domingo DeGrazia and Beth Daunis enveloping the cloud forest. DeGrazia and Daunis have charmed audiences with songs that are as rhythmic as they are percussive; moving from passionate to whimsical, elegant to sorrowful, a narrative that could be told through the song of a bird.
